Well TONIGHT, Monday, April 29th, she’s doing a variety of Peruvian dishes including stuffed avocado, shrimp ceviche and potato beef casserole (Peruvian style) and strawberry/mascarpone tarts and mango mousse..

NEW COFFEE FROM BRAZIL:
Tucked away in the municipality of Mococa, near the borders of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, is a small mountain chain that reaches 1200 masl . At the top of this mountain chain are several springs that form the beginning of the river Rio Canoas – a very important river for coffee production in the valley. There are two key farmers that are leading the group for the production of this coffee – Flavio Salles Machado and Roberto Bosenberg. Coffee from their farms, Fazenda Morro Azul and Fazenda Santo Antonio, respectively, are combined to make up our lot of Agua Limpa. They have been working extremely hard to improve both sustainability and quality on all levels of production. A revered cachaça maker and lover of innovative processes, Flavio’s passion lies in the minutia of production. This year he became a certified Q-grader and installed a cupping lab on his farm. Together, they are a perfect team that share the vision of total coffee quality.
Agua Limpa exemplifies all of the classic characteristics from many of the FAF coffees we have offered in the past. Coffees from this region are emblematically laden with flavors of chocolate, nuts, and ripe red fruits. The body is distinctly full and sweet like almond butter. The acidity is incredibly balanced and only adds minor touches of fruit flavor. This is your classic every day drinker. Performs great with any type of brewing method or milk addition you can dream of! We’re tasting: chocolate, caramel, vanilla, nougat, almond butter, brown sugar, hazelnut, dried fruit, strawberry.
